Home visits requests must be received by 10:00 for visits that day, please call the surgery directly on 01767 316346.

We will only accept requests for patients who are housebound due to their current illness.

Home visits will be triaged by a doctor, and if needed the emergency care practitioner or nurse practitioner will carry out the visit. Please note, home visits will not be authorised for lack of transport, child care issues, poor weather conditions or a patient’s financial situation.

When booking a home visit, please provide the reason for the visit and details of the problem.

Parents of children will be asked to bring to the child to the surgery to be seen. Some patients will be required to attend surgery as some examinations cannot be performed at a patient’s home.
