For patients who are requesting medication on paper

Did you know we are receiving over 400 paper requests for medication a week

This can be time consuming for everyone involved and can cause delays in our patients receiving their medication at the right time.

We are trying to encourage our patients who can access a computer, tablet, or smartphone to use the NHS App to request repeat medication.

Please order your next repeat prescription through your NHS account on the NHS App or NHS Website.

This is quick and easy way to make your requests. You will be able to request at any time of day or night, so you don’t have to wait for the surgery to be open or wait in a telephone queue.

You can order your repeat medication by using the NHS App or NHS Login. If you already have online access this is the quickest way to make a request and you can track your request without having to contact the surgery.

If you would like more information on how to do this, please use the link above.

There is also local support from Bedfordshire Rural Community Services who run groups in Biggleswade and Sandy who will show you how to access online health services.

Please be assured that if you do not have access to a computer, smartphone or tablet we are happy to accept your requests on paper.

Thank you
